Sahara with Steve and Thora Pollak

Our imported Swedish mare Sahara (out of Cedra) is by the legendary Premium A Stallion Chapman (who represented Sweden in the 1994 World Championships at The Hague).

Sahara is entered in the Swedish Mare Studbook and is the mother of Beall Spring Savanna, USDF Reserve Champion 3 Year Old Materiale Filly 2008.

Beall Spring Savanna won the 2008 "Suitable to Become a Dressage Horse" at Dressage at Devon. At her 2008 Swedish Inspection, Beall Spring Savanna received the outstanding score of 50 points! This was the highest score awarded to any horse either jumping or dressage.

In 2001 Sahara was 5th USDF Horse of the Year Broodmares. Pictured is her 2002 colt Baccarat by Bellini.

Her first son is Faberge by Navarino. Sahara was one of the few mares bred to Navarino, son of Bellini. Navarino was the Swedish National Champion ridden by Michael Klimke and was owned by Hilltop Farm.

Before being imported to the US Faberge placed third in the Breeder Trophy Finals in Sweden for 4-year-olds.

Her 2003 foal is Beall Street also by Bellini. Beall Street is now in training in Sweden.

Sahara's 2006 filly Beall Spring Sienna has been professionally started. She will do well in any discipline. We see her as an excellent hunter/jumper or dressage prospect. Go to her bio page for a video.

Sahara is currently (2010 season) in foal to the wonderful stallion Rosenthal.
